The teaching system of SDN Pasar Lama 1 focused on the holistic development of the students wherein they plan for learning not only for the development and enrichment of the cognitive domain but also to strengthen their character and faith to God (Allah). The school are strict when it comes to the implementation of discipline and proper attitude, they made sure that all students are not only equipped with the brilliant minds but also with the power of the heart.

  As reflected in the 2013 curriculum that in order to sustain the life of the nation the National Education System and Educational Institutions must produce quality individuals which has faith and piety to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable,capable, creative, independent and become a democratic and responsible citizens.
