The third week of our internship will be the teaching practice, and one of the major challenge for me is the language itself because my students and my teacher cannot understand the English language including their textbooks and learning materials are all written in Bahasa. Good thing that in today's era, technology is well developed, we have so many gadgets and worldwide application that we can use, wherein we cannot deny the fact that it play an important role in lives. So, I utilized the technology that we have now, I translated the learning material to English so that I can start planning for my lessons.

  First thing that I did was to make a lesson plan, my mentor said that I can use the format of the lesson plan of our university, and that is an advantage for me. However I still need to based some of the parts of my lesson plan to their current curriculum so that the competencies and the standards will be aligned into it.

  Secondly, I gave my lesson plan to my buddy, Shonia. Because she said that she need to translate it to Bahasa so that my teacher can understand and evaluate my lesson plan properly.

  When my mentor approved my lesson plan, I started to make my learning materials, I made a model of a mountain emphasizing the importance of trees to every natural resources and to humans. I also prepared PowerPoint presentation for showing some videos related to my topic. I also made traditional visual aids including printed pictures for the easy implementation of the assessment.
